Ms. Harney, a former resident of Milton, was born in Boston, a daughter of the late Daniel J. and Margery T. (Canny) Harney. She was the sister of Margaret M. Morrissey and Sheila Bonacci, both of Milton and Dorothy Patricia Harlow of Kingston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated in Saint Agatha Church Tuesday, Sept. 21 at 10:30 a.m. Visiting hours are at Dolan Funeral Home Monday, Sept. 20 from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment at Saint Joseph Cemetery, West Roxbury.
