I felt it, wasn't sure at first, I was at my kitchen counter & it shook. Didn't know what to think!!!

Felt a tremor in Carver. Bottles knocked over on counter!

I felt it on Braeside Road.......

A major shock on November 18, 1755, centered east of Cape Ann, Massachusetts, caused extensive damage at Boston. The felt area included most of New Hampshire.

My wife and I both felt it in Braintree, I was sitting at my computer, in a room a slight distance away, and my wife called me and said what was that. It felt like an earth tremor to me but she thought something happened to our house, she tried calling the police but was unable to get through, evidently a number of people were trying also.

I felt the tremor in North Weymouth. I thought my dogs where rough housing. It did last for about 15 seconds, ugh.

I was watching TV and the couch felt like it was moving/shaking. Looked up and a plant on a stand by the window was swaying. I looked at the dog, thinking she was scratching something and causing the shaking. Nope .. sound asleep. An earthquake never occurred to me. I'm in Yarmouthport on the Cape.

Was in the kitchen, dog started growling and I thought I was seeing things-- looked like the refrigerator was moving!

what time did this happen? My dog was a little freaked out today, maybe that is why!

my husband was in the den and felt his chair move slightly, and the lamp moved on the table. I was in the kitchen and just thought a heavy truck was coming in the driveway.

Just Mother Earth shaking off some built up tension!

I just finished reading the seminal book, "Waking The Giant." A fascinating book about melting ice caps, sea level rise, and tectonic plates. The weight of a rising ocean pushes against landmasses - putting pressure on inland tectonic plates and their relative rift and fault zones - thereby increasing frequency and intensity of earthquakes.

I was in East Bridgewater sitting in a classroom listening to a presentation. It was felt by all in the room. At first it was thought a big truck drove by but then all realized that no truck would have come so close to make the room shake so quietly.

I'm from Lynn my son called me at work ask ma did you feel it I said what he said what the shake of the ground I said no he said his girl called. Him and said was that a minny. Earthquack at the same time my customer. At work in the. Corner of my store was yelling did u feel that she was shaking inthe store in her corner. Seat while another customer was shaking at the counter but the rest of us in back of store didn't feel it also the women in the chair said her daughter was in Boston. Text her and. Said her. Bed came away from the wall while studying crazy huh

We were eating dinner in Plymouth, and the house and table shook and dishes rattled.

Our house was shaking here in Derry,NH. We also thought a big truck was going by initially.
