Milton man accused of assaulting, injuring sister
Ralph J. Molin, 23, of 16 Quentin St., Milton, was arraigned in Quincy District Court on charges of assaulting and battery on a child with injury, two counts of assault and battery, vandalizing property, and violation of an abuse prevention order. The case was continued to July 16. Molin is being held on $3,000 bail at the Norfolk County House of Correction in Dedham. The charges stem from a report of a family disturbance involving a young man beating up his family. Police said Molin allegedly went upstairs to his sister's room and tried to grab a telephone away from her. When she yelled at him to get out of her room, Molin allegedly became angry and hit her on the left side of her face. The girl was taken to Milton Hospital.
Traffic charge against Pembroke man dismissed
Mark F. Gorman, 48, of 40 Greenwood Ave., Pembroke had a charge of driving with a suspended license dismissed in Quincy District Court and was found not responsible for driving without license in possession and failure to stop/yield. The charges stemmed from a July 22, 2011, incident in Milton when state police on Route 93 observed a Ford Explorer that allegedly did not yield to a vehicle at an off-ramp.
Chelsea man skips hearing on traffic charges
Carlos Hernandez, 24, of 88 Adeson St., Apt. 2, Chelsea, failed to appear in Quincy District Court to be arraigned on a charge of unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle. A judge issued a default warrant. The charge stems from a June 9, 2011, incident in Milton at 11:58 p.m. when state police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at the Route 24/93 split.
