OUI case goes to jury trial in December
Ruth A. Knox, 60, of 15 Bower Road, UD3, Quincy had charges of operating under the influence of alcohol, negligent operation of a vehicle, and a marked lanes violation continued to Dec. 17 for a jury trial in Quincy District Court. The charges stem from a May 26 incident in Milton at 2:10 a.m. when State Police monitoring traffic along Interstate 93 observed a black Nissan Sentra traveling in the middle of the travel lane. Police stopped the vehicle and administered field sobriety tests. Knox was taken into custody on suspicion of driving impaired.
Marijuana distribution case to face hearing Nov. 29
Bradley St. George, 57, of 66 California Ave., Milton had charges of distributing Class D marijuana, conspiracy to violate drug law, and a drug violation near a school or park continued to Nov. 29 in Quincy District Court for a motion to dismiss the case. The charges stem from a May 14, 2010 incident in Quincy following an investigation by a drug control unit.
Child endangerment case continued to Jan. 24
Jeffrey Charles, 25, of 27 Bartlett Road, Randolph had three counts of reckless endangerment of a child, resisting arrest, and failure to stop for police continued to Jan. 24 for a hearing in Quincy District Court. The charges stem from a April 15 incident in Milton at 8:58 p.m. when police noticed a Honda Accord traveling 68 mph in a posted 30 mph zone and made several attempts to stop the vehicle. The vehicle continued, increased speed to 80 mph to evade police, and crashed off the road in an attempt to make a turn into the Fuller Village residential complex, according to the police report. Police said Charles became combative with police.
