Hearing Postponed for Suspects in Milton Shooting

The three men arrested in connection with a car chase and shooting in Milton on January 12, will be back in court in March.

The Milton Police Department has little new information about the shooting that took place on in the area of Brook Road and Blue Hill Avenue last month, but the three suspects in the case are expected back in court next month.

According to boston.com, the suspects’ pretrial hearing was moved from Wednesday, February 8, to March 8.

Two of the suspects, Roy Jaundoo, 35 of Roslindale, and Kevin Taylor, 22 of Dorchester, were charged with armed assault with intent to murder. Randolph resident Caiheem Kindell, 21, was charged with carrying a firearm without a license.

According to the original report, a 19-year-old Milton man was allegedly chased and fired upon near Route 138 around 9 p.m. on January 12.

Police located and arrested Juandoo, Taylor and Kindell that evening.

According to Deputy Chief Charles Paris, police located one handgun that night and two others the following morning. The type and caliber of those weapons has not been released.

Paris said Thursday that there still appears to be no connection between the suspects and the victim.

Police are looking into whether a fourth suspect was involved in the shooting.

“There may have been a fourth person involved, but we have no information to go on at this point,” said Paris.
