Kindergarten Pre-Registration, Art for a Cause, Milton Selectmen

Today is Thursday, December 20. Here are five things you need to know.

1. Mostly sunny: Today will be mostly sunny with a high around 40, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Kindergarten pre-registration: Pre-registration for kindergarten in the Milton Public Schools is open now. The pre-registration form is available here.

3. Pastels for the pantry: The Milton Public Library’s art display this month will help the Milton Food Pantry. Area artists have united for “Painters for a Purpose,” exhibiting pastel landscapes in the Wotiz Gallery and donating 30 percent of the proceeds to the food pantry.

4. Selectmen meeting: The Milton Board of Selectmen will meet at Town Hall this evening at 6:30. Click here for the meeting agenda.

5. Support group: Each month, the Milton Council on Aging holds support groups for various issues. Today at 1 p.m., the Memory Support Group will meet.
