Though it’s possible over two feet of snow is already on the ground in Milton, the National Weather Service says Milton could still receive another 7 to 11 inches of snow today.

Saturday’s new accumulation will likely fall on Milton before 4 p.m. with periods of heavy snowfall.

The NWS predicted nighttime snow totals between 14 and 20 inches on top of the accumulation that already fell during the day Friday.

Tonight is expected to be blustery with wind chill values as low as –3. There is a 30 percent chance of overnight snow accumulation, but the total will be under an inch.
