Chief Richard Wells marched with the New York City Department in this year's St. Patrick's Day in New York City.

The Chief was invited to participate in the parade by NYPD Chief of Department Joseph Espositio. The two men met after the September 11, 2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, when the Milton Police Department went to support the 500 New York Police Department officers who were impacted by 9/11, according to a Milton Police Department Facebook post.
