Milton Police Searching for Female Bank Robber

The Citizens Bank at 40 Adams Street was allegedly robbed Monday by a black female.

The Milton Police Department is currently searching for a black female who allegedly robbed the Citizens Bank in Milton Village around noon on Monday, December 17.

According to Deputy Chief Charles Paris, the suspect entered the bank branch and handed a teller a note that asked for "lots of money and no dye packs."

The black female is estimated to be over age 30 and was wearing a brown hat with shiny rhinestones and sunglasses. She was also wearing a coat, pants and gloves that were all dark colored.

After receiving a bag of money, the suspect fled the area in an unknown direction. Paris was unsure if the individual left the scene on foot or in a vehicle.
