Milton Resident Wins $10 Million on Instant Lottery Ticket

Eric William Cherry purchased the winning “Billion Dollar Bonanza” ticket at the Tedeschi's on Houston Avenue in Milton.

 

A Milton resident received a $10 million Valentine's Day gift from the Massachusetts Lottery.

On February 14, Eric William Cherry won one of just 10 $10 million dollar prizes from the “Billion Dollar Bonanza” instant game. The winning ticket was purchased at Tedeschi's on Houston Avenue in Milton. The store is also a winner, earning a $50,000 commission for the sale.

According to masslottery.com, Cherry is a fireman at a power plant. He plans to take his family on a trip to Aruba to celebrate his winning lottery ticket.

I'm glad it was him and not me. I love working and I love my job. Money would ruin everything. I'm such a liar. But I'm happy for him and wish him well.
