Incumbent U.S. Senator Scott Brown visited Milton on April 2. The Republican Senator met with constituents and had lunch at Stellas in East Milton.

Democratic nominee Elizabeth Warren will challenge Brown. Warren has also made a campaign stop in Milton. She met supporters at Cunningham Park before the Milton Road Race on June 12.

The Governor’s Council race for District 2 will interesting to watch this fall, particularly with the Democratic Primary in September.

Brian Clinton, chief of staff for Boston City Councilor Rob Consalvo, is among the candidates.

Milton resident Robert L. Jubinville is the only attorney on the ballot.

Hyde Park resident Patrick McCabe, is also seeking the open seat. Recenty, he has been blogging for Patch about the Governor’s Council.
