Newcomb Farms have picked up another win in the Milton Patch “Best of” series by being voted the Best Family Restaurant.
Having already been voted the Best Breakfast in Milton by Patch readers, Newcomb Farms Family Restaurant has cemented its local reputation with 55 percent of the 78 votes cast nominating the restaurant.
Voting began on Monday morning and lasted until 9 a.m. on Friday. As in the Best Breakfast poll, Newcomb Farms was an early front-runner and held on to comfortably claim the title of Best Family Restaurant.
Located on Randolph Avenue, the restaurant has a devoted following who are more than happy to spread the word beyond the Milton borders and into cyber-space.
According to Yelp reviews, the lines out of the door at weekends are a testament to the quality and value for money of the restaurant with menu highlights being the banana bread French toast, the waffles, the light and fluffy pancakes and the veggie skillet.
One satisfied patron gave the café a five star review saying that it was “Possibly the best restaurant ever” while another diner decided “If I were an unborn chicken fetus, this is the place I would want to be scrambled.”
The restaurant is owned by David Newcomb, who splits his time between Milton and a second location in Wollaston.
The nearest challenger to Newcomb Farms in the Milton Patch family restaurant poll was Stella’s with 16 percent of the votes, while 88 Wharf and Bents Cookie Factory garnered 5 percent of the vote each.

The poll opens at 5:45 a.m. on Monday, March 26, and will close at 9 a.m. on Friday, March 30. The winner will be announced at noon on Friday.
