One Man Arrested in Craigslist Robbery Case

A former Milton resident was arrested last Friday for allegedly robbing three people and assaulting two of them after they responded to a fake Craigslist ad for a flat screen TV.

A Milton man, who was living with his father in Waltham, was arrested Friday in connection with the robbery of three people who responded to a fake Craigslist advertisement for a flat screen TV at a foreclosed home on Randolph Avenue on July 27.

Kendrick Crichlow, who used to live in the first floor apartment at 694 Randolph Avenue, is one of two men Milton Police were pursuing in connection with the crime. Cricklow, 22, is being changed with three counts of armed robbery, two counts of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, one count of assault with a dangerous weapon and two counts of kidnapping according to Deputy Chief Charles Paris.

Crichlow and another man, who police are still looking for, allegedly posted an ad for a flat screen TV on the popular classified website. When three people came to purchase the item, the suspects brought one of the parties into the home at gunpoint. That person was robbed and pistol whipped according to Paris.

Then the suspects brought the other two parties into the house where they were robbed and one was pistol whipped.
