Welcome back, Patch Blogger!

Vote For Your Favorite Football Picture

Vote for your favorite football photo. Winning photographer receives $75.

It's summer. You aren't thinking about football. We get the message. However, we do have some pretty good submissions to the picture of the week contest.

You can't vote for Michael West's submission of Vineyard High School Football player Harry West. That was taken by a Cape Cod Times photographer. You also can't vote for submissions by Patch editors Tony Catinella and Adam Roberts. So that leaves three photos for which you can cast a vote.

Voting starts at 4 am on Saturday, Aug. 25 and runs through Monday, Aug. 27 at 9 am. The winner will be announced before noon.

Each photo will have a number in the caption. Vote in the comments section, by entering the number of the photo.

One vote per person.

Voting ends at 9 am on Monday. Votes cast after that time will not be valid.

This is part of Patch’s summer Picture of the Week series, where we’re asking you for your best pictures on a certain topic each week.

As an incentive, the winning submission will get a $75 gift card, plus bragging rights.

Picture of the Week will be taking a one-week hiatus, but we will be back on Tuesday, Sep. 5. Category to be announced.
