The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

• At 8:53 a.m. Wednesday, a 911 caller reported a wire smoking on Channing Street and Wendell Park. Milton Fire and Nstar were notified.
• At 1:29 p.m. Wednesday, a caller reported Just Energy was aggressively soliciting door-to-door in the Landon Road and Blue Hill Avenue area. An officer spoke with the manager and advised him to speak to the rest of the solicitors regarding their behavior.
• At 8:53 p.m. Wednesday, a party walked into the station to report an unarmed robbery on the Wood Street overpass. The victim stated an adult male and adult female robbed him on Monday morning. One of the victim’s stolen credit cards was used later at CVS in Norwood.
