Police Log: Break-in At St. Pius, Child Locked in Car
The following excerpt is from the Milton Police Log from Wednesday, March 21 to Thursday March 22.
Wednesday, March 21:
At 6:11 p.m. Curry College reported there was smoke in the area and the Milton Fire Department responded to a fire on Canton Avenue.
Thursday March 22:
At 9:37 a.m. a caller reported a child was locked in a motor vehicle on Governors Road. Officers later reported that they safely were able to open the vehicle.
At 10:04 a.m. a caller reported a motor vehicle crash on Brush Hill Road. One person was transported to the Milton Hospital as a result of the crash.
At 1:04 p.m. a 911 call reported a break in at the rectory at St. Pius Tenth Parish on Brush Hill Road. The suspect was described as a white male with dark hair between the ages of 18-21, with a white shirt and hat and black shoes. The caller reported the man fled the scene and was not found by police.
