Police Log: Foot Chase, One Injured in Car Fire

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 2:12 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a group of youths driving golf balls on Cedar Road. The responding officer reported the youths were spoken to about the issue.
  • At 6:01 p.m. Saturday, an officer reported a suspicious vehicle at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton. One adult male passenger fled on foot. After a 25-minute search, the subject was apprehended on Clapp Street. The man was charged with three warrants and resisting arrest. The prisoner was held for court.
  • At 7:01 p.m. Saturday, a caller reported a group of six to eight youths getting ready to smash pumpkins in the area of Cypress Road. An officer spoke with the youths and sent them on their way.
  • At 8:08 p.m. Saturday, a 911 caller reported a car on fire on Blue Hill Avenue. The Milton Fire Department extinguished the fire. One patient was transported to Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Milton.
