Police Log: Injured Seagull, Resident Robbed of Cell Phone

This is an excerpt from the Milton Police Log on Friday, January 18. Where arrests or charges are mentioned does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following information was provided by the Milton Police Department.

  • At 9:16 a.m. Friday, a caller reported a breaking and entering to a vehicle on Meadowview Road.
  • At 12:06 p.m. Friday, the Animal Control Officer reported an injured seagull at Lincoln Street and Thacher Street.
  • At 4:43 p.m. Friday, a caller reported she was robbed of her cell phone while walking in the area of Brush Hill Road and Blue Hills Parkway. The suspect, an 18-year-old black male, fled toward Mattapan Square.
  • At 6:25 p.m. Friday, a 911 caller reported a male party assaulted a female on Eliot Street. The suspect fled toward Boston. Transit Police and Boston Police were notified.

Cell phones are a robbery waiting to happen. $400 - $1000 for a cell phone, and people pull them out to make a phone call and BING it's gone. I have a simple flip phone and no one is interested in it. But I want to check my E-mails. Wait until you get home.
