Presidential Primary Voter Registration Deadline Wednesday
Registration for the March 6 Presidential Primary is Wednesday, February 15.
For Massachusetts voters to be eligible to vote in the March 6, 2012 Presidential Primary, a mail-in voter registration form must be postmarked by Wednesday, February 15.
The voter registration form is available here, and must be mailed to the Commonwealth’s Election Division by Wednesday.
This deadline not only applies to voter registration, it is also for declaring a party and changing addresses.
There will be some changes to voting precincts and polling locations in Milton this year due to the 2010 census. Though the town has grown slightly in population, the number of precincts has been reduced from 11 to 10.
The former Precinct 10 has been redistricted into the adjacent Precincts 3 and 8. The new plan will also move the polling location of Precinct 2 from St. Mary of the Hills School to the Council on Aging and Precinct 3 from the Glover School to Cunningham Hall.

Questions about voter registration can be referred to the Town Clerk’s Office at 617-898-4859. Additional information is also available on the Town Clerk’s website.
The Presidential Primary is the first of four elections scheduled for 2012. The Milton Town Election is planned for April 24, followed by the State Primary on September 6 and the Presidential Election on November 6.
