Bags of salad recalled due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections

 

Fresh Express Inc., is recalling a limited quantity of 18 oz. Hearts of Romaine salad with the Use By date of Sept. 26, 2012 due to potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems.
