Today is Friday, September 28. Here are five things you need to know.
1. Rainy Friday: There will be a 90 percent chance of rain today, according to the National Weather Service. The showers will begin after 10 a.m. and the daytime high will be around 61.
2. Weekend weather: On Saturday, the National Weather Service is forecasting a chance of morning showers and a daytime high near 65. It will be cloudy with a chance of rain on Sunday. Sunday’s high will be around 56.
3. Summer hours continue: Summer hours at Town Hall have been expanded, on a trial basis, until December 28. The building will be open from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
4. Senior film: The Council on Aging will show the movie The Artist today at 1 p.m. The Friday movie is free for seniors.
5. Time for Tales: Parents and children ages 3 to 5 are invited to visit the Milton Public Library for Time for Tales today from 10:30 to 11 a.m. This children’s story time is free and no registration is required.
