Before chowing down on turkey this Thanksgiving, burn a few calories for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute in the Annual Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot.

The 3.2-mile run, walk or bike event, which begins and ends at the Central Avenue entrance to Turners Pond, will be held at 8 a.m. on Thursday, November 22.

The trot is held each year in memory of Milton resident Theresa Haley, who passed away at age 35.

Advance sign up is not necessary. Donations will be accessed for the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
