Veterans Honored at Council on Aging Luncheon
The Milton Council on Aging recently held its sixth annual Veterans Luncheon.
The Town of Milton honors veterans in a variety of ways, especially surround the November 11 observance of Veterans Day. One of the ways former military men and women are recognized is at the Milton Council on Aging Veterans Luncheon.
On Friday, November 4, over 50 people attended the sixth annual luncheon honoring veterans at the Senior Center.
“It’s just our small way of saying ‘thank you,’” said Mary Ann Sullivan, Council on Aging Director.
Attendees were treated to lunch, which was donated by Pat’s Pizza in Dorchester. Other local businesses or organizations chipped in with flowers, cake and snacks.
The highlight of the luncheon was an armed forces medley performed by the Milton High School chorus.

Thank you Adam for taking the time to join us and write about this special event. The Veterans really appreciated your joining us as we try in a small way to thank them for all they did to ensure our freedom. Mary Ann Sullivan, COA Director
