Week in Review: March 28 to April 3

A look back at the happenings this week in Milton.

This week, things in Milton were relatively quiet on the meeting front, but everywhere else, the town was buzzing.

On Thursday and Friday, the auditorium at Milton High was the spot in Milton that was buzzing. Teachers and administrators showed off their best singing, dancing and acting skills for the Third Annual Faculty and Staff Talent Show. Earlier in the week, Milton Patch spoke with some of the , which benefits clubs and athletics.

People like me were buzzing with frustration on Friday morning after waking up to a blanket of snow. We caught some images of the April Fools’ Day , which much to my delight, was melted by Saturday.

Moving to Saturday, the held a great performance at the Milton Public Library. Milton High juniors, Caeleigh MacNeil, violin; Amelie Carpenter, violin; Elizabeth Mahon, cello; and Brendan Hayward, viola, have been performing all around Milton and beyond since they were in eighth grade.

Saturday night was definitely the most buzz-worthy event of the week, as the Milton Foundation for Education took over the Quincy Marriott for the 12th Annual . The fundraiser for the MFE drew about 800 people for an evening that included a mechanical bull and a live auction.
