A CEO magazine ranks Massachusetts as one of the worst states in the nation for business. Chief Executive Magazine ranked Massachusetts 47th based on a survey of corporate leaders. Survey respondents reported the Bay State is one of the worst for taxation and regulation. The state Republican Party is pointing to the survey and saying that Gov. It took nearly a year, but Milton Yoga is now open at 12 Brush Hill Road.
Two years ago, Sean McCarthy returned to his hometown with the mission of opening Milton Yoga and creating a yoga community. As of May 1, that community has a new home base, the 1,700-square-foot first floor space at 12 Brush Hill Road. Since the ski instructor turned yogi started his business, he'd been sharing space at the Carriage House School on Randolph Avenue. The new studio was completely redone and features two rooms for heated and unheated yoga. Milton Yoga operated out of the Carriage House for 730 days. In that time, McCarthy said he's welcomed 1,534 new students. The class offerings will now increase from 27 to over 50 at the new Milton Yoga.
