Viewfinder is an image gallery of people, places and things in Milton.For the second year in a row, the Life is Good Festival brought in huge crowds to Prowse Farm in Canton with an array or music performances, entertainment, food, games, and activities for kids this weekend. The two-day festival raises money for the Life is Good Playmakers, a non-profit that trains childcare workers to help children who have experienced some kind of trauma. This year's charity fundraising goal is set at $1 million. The fest wraps up today.

For the fourth consecutive year the Milton community and it's police department came together for an evening of free family fun on Wednesday, August 3. The National Night Out drew over 1,500 to the Milton Police Headquarters for demonstrations, vehicle tour and plenty of kids activities.
The Milton Farmers Market, which is located in Milton Village, is open every Thursday throughout the summer from 1 to 6 p.m. Milton Patch stopped by this week to check out a few local vendors.
Milton's Independence Day Celebration at Kelly Field is one of the town's simpliest and most loved traditions. The Milton Kiwanis Club hosts the small field day every year, catering to the children of Milton with relay races by age group, face painting, exhibition of a vintage Milton Fire Engine and ice cream. With such ideal weather, this year's event, which started Monday at 9:30 a.m. and ran until about 11 a.m., had a great turnout, with the entire parking lot of the field filled and some people parking along the street.
