ABCD needs you to Volunteer!

We are looking for special people like you to help Boston residents get free tax preparation assistance. You can make a difference in their lives by saving thousands of dollars in tax preparation fees.

By volunteering your time, you get to learn new skills, make new friends and become a certified IRS tax preparer.

The tax preparation training is free. No prior tax experience is needed. Last year we returned over 8.5 million in tax refunds to over 5,400 taxpayers through the power of volunteers! We cannot do it again this season without you!

ABCD serves more than 85,000 low-income Greater Boston residents annually through its city-wide network. We serve as the largest partner of the Boston Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC) Coalition to provide free electronic tax preparation through the IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.
