Blue Hills Trailside Museum

1904 Canton Ave, Milton, MA
617-333-0690

The museum is the center and starting point for the Blue Hills Reservation, which stretches for 7,000 acres and 150 miles of trails. Along with guided or unguided tours of the trails, visitors can spend time at the center itself, where there are indoor animal exhibits, items for sale and picnic areas. Weekend programs, incuding a live animal exhibition are free. The gift shop also offers food and drinks for sale, and is handicap accessible. Museum policy discourages smoking, pets and taking plant samples. Come year round, from morning to night, to walk the trails and observe nature.
