Here are five things you need to know for Thursday, Dec. 4.

1. Knit some scarves for Christmas: Or mittens for Hanukkah. Or a blanket just because. Try your hand at knitting and make some new friends at the Milton Library knitting drop-in. Experienced knitter Nina Zonnevylle will be on hand to show you the ropes.
