Small Wonders, Job Doctor at Milton Library

5 Things: A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Milton on Aug. 21, 2013.

1. Milton Public Library hosts Small Wonders at 10 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. in the Story Hour Room.

"A 'lap-sit' program for babies and toddlers, with nursery songs and rhymes and age-appropriate story books. No registration required. Note: This program is a repeat  of the 10:00 program. Choose the time that suits you best!"

2. The Job Doctor is also at Milton Library today, from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on the second floor. 

"Roni has the right prescription to remedy any questions & concerns you have with your job search. Stop by for a brief career strategy session with professional career coach, Roni Noland, any Wednesday morning. You can visit with her at her table on the Library second floor anytime between 10:30am & noon. She is available to answer your questions about resumes & cover letters, networking, social networking, interviewing and job search strategy. Roni can review and tweak your resume, help you craft a persuasive cover letter and be a guide through the maze of on-line resources and job sites. This service is free and open to all Milton Public Library patrons."

3. The Board of Selectmen meet at 6:30 p.m. in the John Cronin Conference Room at Town Hall. Click here for a full agenda.
