St. Michael’s Church Welcomes New Youth Coordinator

St. Michael’s Church is pleased to announce the appointment of Robert Goodridge as the parish’s new Youth Coordinator. Robert will lead St. Michael’s Youth Group by supporting and guiding young parishioners in a number of community outreach projects, and teaching the importance of social responsibility and service to others.

Community outreach is a vital aspect of St. Michael’s parish life. Robert plans to continue the tradition of outreach activities which includes participation in Ecclesia Ministries’ common cathedral and CityReach, Nightwatch at the Cathedral Church of St. John the Divine, visits to Heifer Farm in Rutland, and fundraising events. Robert also hopes to grow St. Michael’s youth program by adding a middle school-aged youth group, and a once a week after-school program where young people can congregate and direct their energy to positive outcomes.  Robert will also support and assist with the parish’s Church School (pre-K through 6th grade) and 8th grade Confirmation Class.

A resident of Boston and parishioner at St. Michael’s, Robert graduated from Boston College High School. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec, and a Master of Science Degree in International Relations from the University of London.
