5 Things: Live Concert at Fuller, Readers' Theatre Club

A run-down of events and other useful information for your life in Milton on July 18, 2013.

1. Celebrate summer with a live concert at Fuller Village at 1372 Brush Hill Rd. at 5:30 p.m. Click here for more info.

2. Milton Public Library hosts the Readers' Theatre Club from 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Story Hour Room. Registration required. "Readers' Theatre is a a type of drama performed by "readers" who read from a script and do not have to memorize lines.  Performed with minimal costumes, sets and props, readers' theatre can be not only a great introduction to theatre for kids, but it's also a great way to practice one's oral reading skills, build confidence, and have fun with friends at the same time!"

3. The Blue Hills Blaster 1 Mile Race is today. Click here for more on what is called the most difficult 1-mile race in New England.

4. The heat wave continues – high of 95 degrees today in Milton, according to the National Weather Service. Slight chance of showers and thunderstorms tonight.
