Annual Milton Monster Dash Announces Art Contest

Milton children can submit Halloween-themed shirt designs for the Monster Dash.

The 14th annual Milton Monster Dash takes place Sunday, October 28, 2012.  This year’s race T-shirt will feature a new design chosen from drawings submitted by children.

Children who live in or attend school in Milton are eligible to participate in the contest. Entries should feature a Halloween theme, since the race encourages runners and attendees to arrive in costume. The contest runs through Wednesday, October 10.

The Milton Monster Dash is organized by the Milton Foundation for Education, with proceeds devoted to the support of science programs for students in grades  K through 5.  The race is held in memory of Sam Cichello, a Tucker school elementary student who died following a playground accident in 1999.
