Do You Want Bike Lanes on Central Avenue?

Central Avenue will be altered next year to include bike-friendly travel, but is that what the biking community of Milton really wants?

“Next year, DPW plans to narrow some parts of the road, repave and stripe it with parking lanes and 15-foot travel lanes with sharrows… Do you want bike lanes right next to parked cars, or sharrows in the travel lanes?” says a Facebook post from Bike Milton.

Note: Sharrows are shared-lane-markings which alert drivers that a cyclist may use the full lane.
