Milton Makes Safest Community in America List

Neighborhoodscout.com offers the top 100 safest cities and towns in the United States.

The latest list of the safest cities and towns in America is out and Milton made the list, coming in at No. 52.

The top 100 safest cities in America, with 25,000 people or more, is compiled annually by NeighborhoodScout.com, a website that helps people find the best neighborhoods in the country to live in. The site analyzed the number of property and violent crimes per 1,000 residents, as reported to the FBI.

The website has deemed Franklin has the safest city or town in America for 2014. It was also the safest in 2013. Last year, Milton was No. 93.
