Milton Players Looking For A New Home

For the first time since the theater group was formed 80 years ago, the Milton Players is looking for a new home.

With the recent sale of the Women's Club, the home stage for the the 80-year-old theater group will be looking for a new venue after the final curtain of "The Unexpected Guest."

"The Unexpected Guest" opens on April 12 and runs through the 20.

"We are committed to moving ahead with our 81st season some where in the Milton area beginning this fall," said board member Erin Stulb. "Our Search Committee has been busy investigating new spaces for performance and storage of our sets, costumes and props. We have not yet selected a location, but we expect to make an announcement within the next month."

The next show (not yet announced) will be in the theater's new performance space in November.

Right now the group is looking to rent performance space, rather than to purchase it, said Stulb.
