Milton Reads Month Kicks Off With Gardner Heist Discussion

This weekend, learn the latest from the officials investigating at the "opening chapter" event.

The Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum heist is one of the biggest art heists in history. In honor of “Milton Reads” month, a top security official for the museum will lead a discussion at the Milton Library Saturday.

Anthony Amore, director of security for the Gardner Museum and author of “Stealing Rembrandts,” will lead a discussion at the library Sept. 7 from 2 to 3 p.m., according to the library’s Facebook page.

“Does he know who done it? Will the paintings every return to the ISGM? Find out from the expert!” says a post on the page.
