Black Friday Draws Huge Crowds at Midnight to South Shore Plaza
The line was around the parking lot at Best Buy and down the sidewalk at Kmart around midnight on Thanksgiving.
The South Shore Plaza, Best Buy and Kmart had block-busting lines on Black Friday 2012 in Braintree. Around midnight the crowds grew even larger and police were out in force making sure the peace was kept. At the Plaza, which opened several hours earlier than years past, crowds were drawn to almost every entrance, and were especially large at Target and Macy's.
