QUINCY and MILTON, MA, ISSUED OCTOBER 14, 2013…Milton resident Timothy Fallon, a 32-year veteran of the company which bears his family name, was one of 30 company employees honored at the firm’s recent 90th anniversary celebration, held at the Steel n’ Rye Restaurant in Milton.

Also honored was Milton resident Theodore Carroll, a 27-year employee of Fallon Ambulance. Both were recognized at the company’s  90th anniversary, held earlier this month at the Steel n’ Rye Restaurant in Milton.

For Tim Fallon, this was a return to a familiar address but one with an entirely different look. For more than 40 years, the 95 Eliot Street, Milton building which is now a thriving restaurant served as headquarters for Fallon Ambulance Service, originally founded by Tim Fallon’s grandfather in 1923.

The setting for the celebration was an interesting blend of present and past for the Fallon team. Tim Fallon was joined by 30 other employees, including a 48-year veteran of the company, John Rzasa who, in Fallon’s words, “has been here longer than I have.”

Fallon and Carroll were recognized by his brother, Peter Racicot, who serves as Senior Vice President at the third-generation, privately-held family ambulance firm, which in 2005 relocated to Quincy.

He said, “Tim’s steady hand and commitment to keeping this company a family business has been a driving factor in our success. Tim cares about people, and instills that value and culture in our employees, and we’re lucky to have him at the helm.” He added, “Ted has been a strong part of our company’s growth also, and we are fortunate to have him as part of our team.”

In addition to its longtime employees, a number of local and state officials were on hand to congratulate Fallon Ambulance on its anniversary and its many contributions to the region. Area officials who helped celebrate the company’s 90 years of service included Weymouth Mayor Sue Kay; State Representatives Bruce Ayers, Tackey Chan; Brian Dempsey; and Ronald Mariano. Additionally, State Senators Kenneth Donnelly and John Keenan attended, as did Braintree Mayor Joseph Sullivan, and a number of area town selectmen and local officials.

Fallon Ambulance continues to maintain strong ties with the Town of Milton, and is that municipality’s 9-1-1 EMS provider. From Fallon’s headquarters in Quincy, it provides 9-1-1 service to Quincy, Milton, Braintree, Weymouth, Brookline and Dedham.
