Matt Lanza, EVP of Knight International, announces addition of Rene Lombardo as Commercial Lines Account Manager

H.J. Knight International names René Lombardo Commercial Lines Account Manager

BRAINTREE and E. TAUNTON, MA, ISSUED FEBRUARY 5, 2014…Matt Lanza, Executive Vice President of H. J. Knight International Insurance Agency (www.knightint.com), a leading full service brokerage firm  specializing in insurance and risk management solutions, announced today that René Lombardo of East Taunton has joined the firm as a Commercial Lines Account Manager.

In this role, she will specialize in property and casualty insurance for mid to large size accounts in various industries throughout the country. Lombardo comes to Knight International from the carrier side after working the past 11 years with Philadelphia Insurance as a Senior Account Executive where she serviced over a forty million dollar book of business. Prior to that she spent four years with the workers compensation specialists, RTW, as the Claims Coordinator and Office Manager. In her role at Knight International, she will continue to use her industry experience and strong insurance background to provide solutions for Knight’s clients and prospects.

The Brockton, MA native earned a Bachelor of Science from Bridgewater State College, and holds a number of industry designations: CISR (Certified Insurance Service Representative), AU (Associate in Commercial Underwriting), AIS (Association Insurance Services); and AINS (Associate in General Insurance).

In her spare time, she enjoys knitting, reading and spending time with her family.
