Today you should know about music, art and more right here in Milton.

Today is Tuesday, August 16. Here are five things you need to know.

1. Cloudy, rainy: Showers are likely today with cloudy skies and a high near 72, according to the National Weather Service. The evening will be mostly cloudy, becoming clearer as the night goes on. 

2. Black Velvet Band performance: Tuesday's Summer Concert at Town Hall will feature the Black Velvet Band. The show, which starts at 6:30 p.m., is free to the public.

3. Cancellation information: With the pending rain, there is a chance tonight's concert could be rained out. Cancellations are determined after 4 p.m. For the official decision call 617-898-4940. The remaining rain date is Tuesday, August 30.

4. View local art: The photos and pastels of local artist Diane Sawyer are currently on display in the 's Wotiz Gallery. Sawyer's work will be displayed in the gallery until August 31.
