1. Heating up: Today will be mostly sunny with a high near 88, according to the National Weather Service.

2. Weekend forecast: The National Weather Service is calling for a partly sunny day with a high around 94 on Saturday. Sunday will also be a nice summer day with a high near 87.

3. Town Hall hours: As a reminder, will close at 1:30 p.m. today. The early closure is part of the town’s summer hours.

4. Crafty Friday: The ’s Story Hour Room will be open for children’s crafts today from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be some directed activities or kids are invited to do their own thing.

5. Monday event: At 9:30 on Monday morning the Department of Conservation and Recreation will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new bathhouse. If you can’t attend the event, check Milton Patch on Tuesday.
