An on-street parking ban has been placed on the Town of Milton from Thursday, February 7, until Monday morning, February 11.

According to Department of Public Works Director Joe Lynch, the ban will be strictly enforced by the Milton Police Department. Tickets for on-street parking will be issued Thursday night and cars could be towed once the storm starts.

The Department of Conservation and Recreation has also declared a snow emergency and a parking ban for all DCR roads and parkways. The DCR ban goes into effect at noon Friday and will be in place until further notice.
