2. Diversity meeting: Citizens for a Diverse Milton, a group dedicated to diversity issues in the Milton Public Schools, will meet at the Milton Public Library today at 7 p.m.

3. Newton information: Since the tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Conn. on Friday, Milton Public School Superintendent Mary Gormley has released several statements about school safety and how to talk to children about the situation. 4. Assessors meeting: Tonight at 6 the Milton Board of Assessors will be in session at Town Hall.

5. Night Owls Storytime: The Children’s Room at the Milton Public Library will host Night Owls Storytime this evening from 6:30 to 7. Children between the ages of three and five, along with a caretaker, are invited for songs and stories. Pajamas are optional.
