1. Sunny day: According to the National Weather Service, today will be sunny with a high around 59.

2. The Politics of War and Peace: Author and activist Tom Hayden will speak at Curry College tonight at 7:30. The presentation, titled The Politics of War and Peace, is free for Curry students and a $5 donation for the public.

3. "Segregated Worlds" film series: The first film in the "Segregated Worlds" film series will be screened tonight at 6:15 in the Milton Public Library’s Keys Community Room. Tonight’s film will be the documentary "Hey Boo!: Harper Lee and To Kill A Mockingbird."

4. Planning Board meeting: The Milton Planning Board will meet at Town Hall tonight at 6:30. 

5. VP debate: The first Vice Presidential debate between Joe Biden and Paul Ryan is scheduled for 9 tonight in Danville, Kentucky. The debate will air live on ABC, NBC, FOX, CBS, CNN, Fox News, MSNBC and more, including CNN Espanol. AOL will also provide a live stream of the debate.
