What’s Open and Closed During Hurricane Sandy

Help us share what’s open and closed on Monday, October 29, during the inclement weather.

With the effects of Hurricane Sandy being felt along the east coast, many businesses, offices and events are being altered.

Here in Milton we have several closures and cancellations. There are also businesses open. Feel free to add your business or event announcements in the comment section.

  • Milton Public Library is closed.
  • Milton Public Schools are closed.
  • MBTA service will be suspended as of 2 p.m. Monday.
  • Town Meeting has been cancelled. The new date is Thursday, November 1 at 7:30 p.m.
  • Fruit Center Marketplace will be open until 8 p.m. Monday.
  • Trash collection is happening today in Milton.

Milton Town Hall closed today at noon.

Due to safety concerns, Fruit Center closed at 4:30 p.m., Monday. The store will reopen at 8 a.m., Tuesday.
