Author Bob Halloran Talks about New Book on Bulger Murders

Bob Halloran wrote about Debbie Davis's murder from her family's viewpoint in his new book, Impact Statement: A Family's Fight for Justice against Whitey Bulger, Stephen Flemmi, and the FBI.  Hear his free talk on Tuesday, April 8th at 7 PM.  Stephen Davis, a Milton resident, will also be present at this program.  Bob Halloran also wrote Irish Thunder: The Hard Life and Times of Mickey Ward and served as a consultant on Paramount's Academy Award-winning movie, "The Fighter."  Mr. Halloran is the sports anchor at WCVB Sportscenter 5, with a distinguished career in sports reporting.  He is the recipient of a New England Emmy Award and two honors from the Associated Press.  He lives in Milton with his family.  This program is sponsored by The Friends of the Milton Public Library, and for more information, contact Jean Hlady, Adult Services Librarian, at (617) 698-5757 or visit the library's website: www.miltonlibrary.org
