What if Lincoln kept a diary during the Civil War? Historical suspense makes for an exciting page-turner in The Lincoln Letter. Popular author William Martin will talk about his new book at the library in a free and open event, and this program is sponsored by The Friends of the Milton Public Library. "What an irresistible combination, a sparkling mystery, intriguing characters, and lively history. I am a huge William Martin fan, but The Lincoln Letter is my absolute favorite," wrote Doris Kearns Goodwin, Pulitzer Prize-winning author of Team of Rivals.
After his talk, Mr. Martin will autograph copies of The Lincoln Letter. He is the award-winning New York Times best-selling author of ten novels, and wrote and narrated the PBS documentary: "American Experience: George Washington: The Man Who Wouldn't Be King."
