Postnatal Pilates (for mom and baby)
This core-strengthening class is designed for new moms and their non-mobile babies, aged 6 weeks and older. Pilates mat exercises are modified to include your baby, in ways that help to develop your bond and your body! This low-impact workout will re-strengthen the deep muscles of the core, including abdominals, back, hips and shoulders. This class will help you regain your pre-baby body while offering you the opportunity to meet other new moms in your community, and foster your connection with your child. This class is taught by a local mom, who is a Stott-Pilates trained instructor, certified through the Advanced level, with special training in pre and postnatal exercise.
All deliveries and recoveries vary from person to person. A doctor's clearance is necessary before beginning this or any postnatal exercise program.
