Prenatal Yoga is highly beneficial during pregnancy and can help reduce many of the physical discomforts women often experience, such as back pain, swelling of the legs and feet, digestive and sleep issues, etc. Yoga has also been shown to reduce the chances of interventions during labor and delivery.
In this class, we will explore safe postures (asana) that are suitable for women during all stages of pregnancy (with any or no amount of previous yoga experience). This unique class aslo offers meditation techniques to help reduce anxieties and concerns, and teaches postures that aslo prepare and aid in labor and delivery. During your journey to motherhood, come enjoy this sacred space and opportunity to bond with your growing baby.
Participants wishing to guarantee their spot in class are encouraged to sign up for the series of classes below. Drop-In's are allowed if space is available for a fee of $18 per class. Please bring a pillow and a yoga mat to class.
